Thanks to all who knitted poppies, and decorated the church for the Remembrance Day service. We have been able to send £275.00 to the British Legion Appeal.
We want to welcome everyone, those who would like to take part in craft activities, and anyone who would just like to come in for a cup of tea or coffee and chat, or to pray. We plan to start again on Wednesday 1st February from 1.00pm

As a visible sign of our unity in Christ, we have been taking a cross between the churches. Having received the cross from Steven and Martin, from St Patrick’s church, the week before (28th February), on Sunday 6th March Judy and Cynthia took the cross on to Thornaby Baptist church.
On Saturday 9th January 2016 some of us went across to Lancashire to witness the Ordination of Catherine Lewis-Smith as Minister to the Darwen Pastorate. Ian and Cynthia went to the Windermere centre on a course to learn to set up a website. It is a wonderful place to stay and the snow on the hills was beautiful.
